Care suites
At The Mill House, our eight care suites provide a high standard of accommodation, with care being on hand as needed.
Our care suites are located in The Mill Lodge. There is easy access to the main facilities of The Mill House, to enable you to enjoy the benefit of our communal areas when desired, whilst enabling you to enjoy your own private space with support when you need it.
Four of our care suites are located on the ground floor and a further four located the first floor, which can be reached via stairs or by a private lift.
Relax in comfort and style
Our care suites are suitable for individuals and couples with low care needs. They comprise of a living area with kitchenette, and a separate bathroom and bedroom. Each of our kitchenettes has appliances included, such as a toaster and kettle, in addition to all furniture being provided.
Everyone living in our care suites will have access to The Mill House’s private landscaped gardens and the opportunity to meet like-minded neighbours. Our care suites really do provide a unique living opportunity in the centre of Skipton, whilst offering style, comfort, and independence, enabling later years to be enjoyed.
Your lifestyle, your choices
Our main home provides a concierge service to individuals residing in our care suites, with meals and much more being provided. Our onsite catering team prepare the highest quality food, with everyone’s tastes and preferences in mind. We will discuss any dietary requirements prior to you living with us. We will take care of your laundry and our fees include utilities and other household bills, so you can enjoy your leisure time.
The Mill Lodge is accessed via a covered walkway from our main home. Residents of our care suites are welcome into the main part of our home at any time to socialise, enjoy a drink and participate in activities as they wish. We have a daily, weekly and monthly activities programme, which is created based on our residents’ interests.
We’re here when you need us
Our care colleagues are on hand to provide 24-hour peace of mind, as and when you need assistance. All care colleagues employed by Anchor are provided with ongoing training and are supported to complete a range of in-house courses to assure you of the best possible care.
Additional services, such as hairdressing and chiropody appointments, can be booked as and when these are needed. We can also arrange extras like daily papers, to suit you.
A personal approach to care
You can rest assured that, should your circumstances change, we can accommodate different care needs at The Mill House. In addition to our care suites, we provide first-class residential and residential dementia care.
